Food safety is everyone's responsibility
While few people would argue about not washing fruit, however despite the everyone idea, the USDA has done more for food safety than any industry, customer group, etc. Searching for Industry food safety brings up multiple companies of how they help comply with laws, but nothing about companies going beyond the laws. A little appreciation can go a long ways.
